Okay, believe it or not, I've been a Juggalo for well around 15 years now. What I'm about to say will probably offend the majority of the Juggalo Family, but it needs to be said and I don't care if it offends any of you, or not. For the rest of you, who don't know what a Juggalo is, this message is not directed towards you. Feel free to read it, if you want, but it's not necessary. A lot of Juggalos say it doesn't matter how long you've been "Down With The Clown" but I get the impression that's not true. Now, don't get me wrong, some of the younger generation of Juggalos are quite pleasant to deal with, probably due to a higher maturity level, but my generation of the Juggalo Nation are much more laid back and chill than the generation of Juggalos today, just as some of the older generation of Juggalos are immature, as well.
I know many Juggalos, from various age ranges and many of you are cool as shit. Some of you, I barely tolerate, simply because you and I have the Juggalo status in common, but even that is becoming more difficult to bear. I will never denounce my Juggalo status, but I will no longer defend the Juggalo honor. I will always support my homies and back them up in anything needed, but just because you're a Juggalo does not make you my homie. If you are my homie, you know it and that will always stand tall. Don't get me wrong, I am not becoming a hater, but the way the majority of Juggalos today act, it's not wrongly placed to be hated on. Most of you are obnoxious, closed-minded and pathetic and it's completely understandable why the world hates you.
I was completely unaware of how massive the hate of Juggalos was, until I discovered it on Twitter. I went on a mission to defend the Juggalo honor, simply for something to do, because I wanted to and because I was proud of my Juggalo status. After realizing how bad the hatred of Juggalos was, it quickly became too much to even bother with, but after some recent events, it's become something I have no interest whatsoever in doing again. I, however, have met quite a few Juggalos on Twitter and I admit, MOST of you are cool as shit. Some of you are just begging for attention from anyone who's willing to give it to you.
Being proud of who you are is completely understandable, so long as you understand what you're claiming to be. Being obnoxious about it is something completely different. Yes, Juggalos are supposed to be proud of who they are, but be proud by supporting your artists, wearing your Hatchetman chains and wearing your Psychopathic related clothing. The world doesn't care who we are and they definitely don't want it thrown in their face. Just like we don't want religion thrown in ours. Running around, screaming lyrics and such at other people who don't care is just pointless. If you come across another Juggalo, by all means, make yourself known to them, but the rest of the world could care less about you, so leave it at that.
Juggalos are also supposed to be an open-minded group, yet it seems like it's the complete opposite and shut themselves off to the rest of the world around them, but at the same time, want the entire world to know who they are. So many of you Juggalos miss out on so much good music out there, simply because you believe that you should only bump Psychopathic Records, a.k.a The Wicked Shit. Just so you know, there is so much more and better Horrorcore out there, that you're completely missing out on, because you've shut yourself off to everything else. Yes, I have my times when I want to listen to nothing but Psychopathic, but those spurts usually last a week or two, then I must move on to other things. When J and Shaggy started this whole Juggalo movement, their intentions were to give you somewhere to belong, not to suck you away from the rest of the world. Open up your eyes, Juggalos and realize that there's more to life than the Carnival.
A few months ago, there was an interview on ABC, I believe, with Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope and a Law & Order episode about Juggalos. I watched both and they were both great specials on our lifestyle. Yes, they may have completely portrayed us as gang members and a violent sort of people, but they weren't wrong in how they view us. So many of you Juggalos out there got your panties in a wad over this and threw your little tantrums about "Juggalos are a family, not a gang!" It's no wonder that the world views us as violent and gang-related. Juggalos travel in groups of Juggalos, dressed all alike, causing chaos and terror and having what would be considered a "good time" to many of you out there, but is considered dangerous to other people who don't understand what's going on. If I weren't completely aware of the Juggalo lifestyle, I'd think the same thing, I'm sure. As far as getting pissed off about "the real meaning of Juggalo and Horrorcore related music," well, that's just stupid. Listen to the lyrics. The subject of most Horrorcore is serial killin and cannibalism. What do you expect other people to hear when they listen to it? They're gonna hear music about murder and assume that's what the song is about. Just because ICP says there's always been a hidden message about the Carnival being God doesn't mean there's a hidden message in every song. Most of the music is about murder, sex, drugs and violence and that's all there is to it. Again, if I weren't aware, I'd think the same thing everyone else thinks about the music. As an added note to anyone reading this that's NOT a Juggalo, just because the music contains these subjects does not mean that's all we care about. We just like the subject and it's what entertains us. One of my favorite bands outside of the Juggalo universe is Slayer, which most of their music is about Anti-Christianity, murder and violence, but that doesn't mean I agree with the whole subject. I may not be a Christian, but I'm not against it, either.
And now I move on to the most recent of events: Tila Tequila at the Gathering... The thing is, I honestly don't know that much about her. I know she's famous for the whole "Shot at Love" thing and something about MySpace. I, personally, could care less who she is, what she does, etc. As far as her being at the Gathering of the Juggalos, I have NO idea why she would even be considered as a guest there, or why she would take the offer in the first place, but that's none of our decisions to make. However, throwing rocks, glass, lit firecrackers and even shit removed from port-a-potties was a decision made by so many Juggalos who saw her there. Look, if you don't like the girl, that's fine, but you went as far as throwing actual SHIT at her. That's just fuckin disgusting! While, throwing things at artists you don't like has been going on for years at the Gathering and most of the time, it's funny as hell that these people get ran off the stage, it's still considered disrespectful and even dangerous, considering some of the things thrown. From what I hear, you were asked not to throw anything at her, so it was obvious that Psychopathic already knew she didn't belong there, yet you did it anyway, which was to be expected. They should've known better from past years that it was going to happen, regardless, but you all took it too far. There are some rumors going around that because of this, it could be the last Gathering of the Juggalos and if it is, it's your own fault. I don't know if they would get rid of the Gathering over something like this, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did, because you people simply won't listen to someone you idolize when they ask you not to do something. If I were in Violent J's shiny dancing shoes, I'd take it away from you, too.
I've also heard that Tila Tequila is wanting to sue over the incident and if she does, she will most likely win the suit, for three reasons: One, security didn't do their job in making sure nothing dangerous, i.e. firecrackers and glass, were available to be thrown at her. If I'm not mistaken, neither of these items were allowed at the Gathering in the first place. Two, she's more popular than Juggalos are and the media will be on her side. And, finally, Juggalos are already hated among the media and government and you all have just given them another reason to do so. Thanks to your own ignorance and inability to listen, you've let another celebrity have MORE money they didn't earn and taken it away from the entertainment that you love most. Not to mention, you've made Juggalos look even worse to the world than they already did. I've heard there were even death threats made on her blog about the incident, which is just furthering your stupidity and adding to the reasons to hate you. Way to go, Juggalos!
As far as Tila Tequila goes, well, you've should've known what you were getting yourself into and I don't feel sorry for you and I did laugh about the whole thing, until I read that they went as far as throwing shit at you. I do hope you win your case, if the rumors are true, but maybe next time, smarten up a little and do some research before you take on something like that to progress your celebrity status.
I will sum up this post saying again that I do NOT denounce my Juggalo status, but I will NOT continue to defend the Juggalo honor. If this causes any of you to view me differently, then I can't say I'm surprised, but I can't say I'm hurt over it, either. Feel free to comment on this post, as I will be sharing it and the feedback is well accepted, positive or negative. If you're going to post negative feedback, at least consider what all I have said and that I have valid reason to say it and that you have no one to blame, but yourselves. If you feel like I'm wrongly judging you, then this is either not directed to you, or you're too blind to see the truth.

An Even Longer Awaited Update!!!
Damn! I'm obviously not very good at this whole blogging thing. Apparently, the last time I updated this, my daughter, Claire, was about to turn 6 months. She'll be 2 years old, this coming Tuesday! Maybe taking care of her is the reason I never update this thing, but I'm sure it's not. Maybe it's just that I try to take on too many things at once. Anyway, here's a few things to mention:
First of all, I've noticed, without surprise, that my download links are no longer available for download. I have deleted the posts that have expired and apologize to anyone who clicked the links that did not work. I keep saying I'm going to upload more files for everyone to download, but I just don't know that that's going to happen anymore. If I do, I'm thinking of devoting it completely to Horrorcore music, as there's just not enough supply for the stuff and I can't get enough of it.
Second of all, I've been DJing on HatchetRadio fairly often and I'd like to post a link to the website, where everyone can tune in, if anyone even checks this place, which I assume they do, as my Minion Counter seems to be on the rise, since the last time I checked it. My current shows are on Thursday and Sunday nights, at 10pm EST, but who knows if that will be the same by the next time I update this place. I've made very good friends with a lot of the people linked to the site, station and chat room on JuggaloIRC and would like to take this spot to give all my homies from there a shout out!
Third of all, this site was offically started to contain snippets and updates on the novels I was planning to write. I didn't mention this in my last post, because it simply slipped my mind, but it needs to be mentioned, before it happens again, so here goes: I had written a good amount of what I had considered the first novel of who knows how many. I won't say what I had written was even remotely close to being finished in any way, but I had a large chunk done and BAM! my computer decides to crash and wipe out my entire hard drive. I have a small portion hand written from where I first began to work on the project, but it was nowhere near what I had typed up in Microsoft Word. Unfortunately, I did not have these files saved onto anything other than my hard drive and the entire project has been lost forever, or, at least, until I decide to start over, which I hope to do, eventually, but, as you can tell, I'm not very good at finishing things I start. I have tons upon tons of ideas for the series and I hope to start over and even complete the project in the [probably later than sooner] future.
Finally, I'd like to thank everyone who's been viewing my pitiful little site, that I'd love to make into a better site, so maybe, more people will check it out. I hate that I don't make enough time for things such as this and I will do my best to put a bit more effort into the whole thing. If any of you would like, you may add me on Twitter. I do have Facebook, which I like to keep for a more private usage, mainly close friends and family and MySpace, which I rarely even use anymore.
And this concludes my most recent, desperately needed update. Hopefully, the next update won't come too far off, especially another year and a half! See you soon, Minions!
